On review of the list put out by Meghan Kalmoe it seems the list was cut a little short. Number 21, Conlin McCabe hopes to crack the top 20 next year but is somewhat disappointed to have seen the list cut off where it was. At least fellow Canadian Rob Gibson nearly cracked the top 10, good effort Giber. Furthermore, there appears to be a severe lack of lightweights. Duncan Grant, the only lightweight, seems to have rode the coat tails of his world champion status to climb the list as well.

So the thoroughly researched and well justified Women’s list has been assembled.

20. Carolyn Ganes, CAN– Conlin’s Ideal woman really, so she had to be here.

19. Julia Edward,NZL- The Kiwis are so hot right now

18. Lucy Strack, NZL – Lucy outranks Julia because she’s older.

17. Sara Cook, AUS.- ever heard what they say about redheads?

16. Maria Laura Abalo, ARG- Sorry Argies, lost to Brazil this time.

15. Lindsay Jennerich, CAN– Im pretty sure she would kill me if she wasn’t here

14. Tracy Cameron,CAN- World Champions are always good on a list like this.

13. Coralle Simone, FRA – French sophistication a fast erg and a pretty face, what more can you ask for? oh yeah she can whisper in French too.

12. Mayya Zhuchkova, RUS- yes another hot Russian athlete to add to the Sharapovas, Kornikovas, etc etc. Russia just seems to have the largest talent pool for hot sporting women

11. Yaima Velazquez Falcon, CUB- A great reason to end the embargo NOW!

10. Fabiana Beltrame, BRZ- No wonder really that the country that gave us gisele bundchen and Adriana Lima also has a girl in the rowing top 20

9. Mary Whipple, USA, – She’s pretty much the lightest of lightweights

Upon reflection of doing this list. . It just seemed way too stalkerish to put together. . .
Its one of those moments where you say “Hey this would be a funny Idea”, than mid way through you’re realizing what you’re doing. I have to thank the collaborators on this one because they really did most of the work.
